Sport

We believe that a lifelong love of sport begins in the earliest years. Throughout Lower School our PE curriculum focuses on developing fundamental movement skills, confidence and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Children enjoy a wide range of activities—from gymnastics and swimming, to games and athletics—building coordination, resilience, and a healthy sense of competition.

With access to excellent facilities and specialist teaching, every child is encouraged to be active, curious, and ambitious, laying strong foundations for future sporting achievement and a lifelong commitment to health and wellbeing.

Swimming

We have an indoor pool here at Swanbourne that children throughout the school use. Children start swimming lessons once a week in the Michaelmas Term from the start of Reception and continue this all the way through Lower School.
