Science
Our outstanding facilities provide the perfect environment for hands-on learning, collaboration and discovery in Science. From Year 5, pupils study Science in one of our fully-equipped, dedicated laboratories by a subject specialist. Practical experiments and investigations grow in complexity as children move through the school, helping them to develop a strong grasp of scientific principles while learning about the discoveries of the world’s greatest scientists.
Modern-day problem solving
Pupils are inspired to use their scientific learning as a lens through which to explore and tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges. From climate change to plastic pollution and global health, lessons go beyond facts and formulas to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Enrichment opportunities such as Science competitions, field trips, and opportunities to interact with leading scientists bring these issues to life, enabling pupils to connect their classroom learning with real-world innovation and solutions.
